Certified Dental Assistant Position

Our dental assistants provide assistance to our dentists ensuring extraordinary comfort and care for our patients before, during and after dental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental treatment while making them feel comfortable.
• Sterilization of equipment.
• Prepare operatory, required instruments, and additional materials.
• Review charts at the beginning of the day to ensure accuracy and preparedness.
• Complete take down and clean up of the operatory after each patient.
• Take digital X-rays of patients using digital imaging.
• Review medical and dental history with patients.
• Communicate patient treatment information with treatment co-ordinators.
• Explain and educate patients on treatment and services.
• Application of topical anesthetics.
• Application of de-sensitizing agents.
• Applying rubber dams.
• Performing bleaching treatments.
